I was reading the newspaper on the way home today after uni to find that the front page had an article about swine flu.
Two travellers from NSW had been tested for swine flu after coming back from Mexico and there are fears that it is already in Australia. It is hard to screen for this virus as people can be infected but not show symptoms of the disease and can be spreading to other people.
This has given rise to fears of an epidemic or even a pandemic.
There has been about 80 deaths in Mexico suspected to be connection to this disease and about 1000 cases in March and April of this year.
So will there be a pandemic in Australia?

swine flu is very scary =0=. HAHA i was at UNSW busting to go toilet so i ran into nearest building which was the law building haha^^. I study at UNSW sometimes to steal my bf's internet:)
